Senior Thermal Development and Validation Engineer with Rivian Automotive, LLC in Irvine, CA. Create development test plans to characterize, test & calibrate thermal components & full Thermal management systems within Rivian's EV vehicle platforms. Domestic travel required approximately 30% of the time.

Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, or a closely related field & 3 years of automotive work experience. Experience must include DVPR, DV & PV testing of thermal components & working with heat transfer, thermodynamics, & heat/mass transfer fundamentals; thermal management experience with High Voltage EV's; automated test equipment, test methods & test facilities including Bench, Labs & Proving Grounds; using automotive data acquisition test tools Vector CANoe/CANape; & vehicle Lab Instrumentation including Thermocouples, pressure transducers, &/or flowmeters.
