POSITION SUMMARY:
Title: Franchise Development Director
Company: Healthy Within Franchising, LLC
Reports To: VP Franchise Network Development
Manages: No direct reports
Supervises shared administrative assistant
Compensation: Salary $110,000 to $130,000
Benefits: Bonus or commission $10%
Status: Full-time, salaried, exempt
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accountable to execute the expansion strategy and to guide prospective franchisees through the recruitment and approval process:
New franchisees
- Area developers
- Single locations
Accountable for ensuring that:
All inquiries are properly vetted, and all qualified candidates receive proper follow-up Franchisees joining the Healthy Within system meet the criteria for new franchisees.
All franchise negotiations and sales comply with the FTC and state laws and regulations

VP Franchise Network Development
Other Development staff members
New franchisee training and on-boarding developments
Operations
Training
DUTIES:
- Executes franchise expansion strategy and budget
- Manages the inventory of open locations and candidates to maximize market penetration
- Recommends franchise vehicles (unit, area) to be employed in development
- Pre-qualifies all inquiries according to the criteria established for a Healthy Within franchisee
- Guides qualified candidates through the process
- Closes the sale
- Ends discussions with inquiries that do not meet minimum criteria
- Assists in negotiations with franchise candidates as requested
- Participates in the approval process for their candidates Prepared for Healthy Within
7 Completes all due diligence on the candidate and ensures compliance with all regulations regarding the offer and sale of the franchise
- Assists in start-up support for new franchisees as requested
- Other duties as requested
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Must have a passion for the benefits of neurofeedback and customer service
Must be a self-starter, able to work without close supervision and to initiate solutions to problems
Must be results-oriented
Must have strong communications skills
Must have strong sales skills, ability to overcome objections, and closing skills Must have strong business acumen
Must be well organized, detail oriented, and able to provide timely and professional follow-up
Must be a good listener, responsive to input from supervisor and potential franchisees
Must be able to multitask
Must be able to manage conflict
Must be committed to constant improvement and able to thrive in a fluid environment
Must have the highest personal integrity
Must be willing to travel as much as 15% of the time
Must be willing to work evenings and weekends
IDEAL CANDIDATE: Will have a minimum of 2 years management experience in a franchise organization. Experience in psychology is helpful. BA required.
